GFCI(Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter)Description
GFCI is the abbreviation of Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter in English, and it is called ground fault current leakage protector in Chinese; it is a special protection device for the North American market. The working voltage is 264VAC-102VAC, the working temperature is -35Deg~66Deg, and the disconnection time is <25mS (at 500 ohm TRIP CURRENT), disconnecting current: 4~6 mA; North America's certification of GFCI is very strict, mainly UL and ETL certification, if UL certification is done, all tests of the product are carried out in the UL laboratory in the United States; ETL certification, can be tested in China;
The different wiring methods of GFCI can be divided into:
1. Receptacle-type ground-fault circuit-interrupter
The protector is output with a socket and connected with the plug of the load device.
2. Portable ground-fault circuit-interrupter
The protector is connected to the socket of the power supply circuit with a plug. The position of the protector relative to the power supply circuit is not fixed, and the components of the protector (including the protector shell and the output socket) can be easily moved. According to the distance between the protector housing and the plug, it can be divided into:
Plug TYPE
Plug TYPE (3 pieces)
a. Plug-in ground-fault circuit-interrupter The housing of the protector and the plug are glued together, and the housing and the output socket are connected by cables or wires.
b. In-line type ground-fault circuit-inte
